Cell Energy Ireland Ltd is Irelands leading renewable energy company, specialising in building integrated renewable energy systems. We work directly with architects, housing developers and home owners throughout Ireland to deliver renewable energy and carbon reduction solutions.
The company was started in July 2007 by Brian Ash and Alex Byrne.
Alex Byrne is the owner of Environmental Installations Ireland (EIL), based in Ballingtogher, Co Sligo.
EIL has vast experience in supplying and installing Geothermal Heat Pumps, under floor Heating, Rain Harvesting systems, Exhaust Air Heat Pumps, Solar Hot Water, and Heat Recovery/Ventilation. Systems which provide a solution to customers in saving energy. CEI was started as a result of the growing market in renewable technologies that..create energy, systems such as Photovoltaic (PV) panels and Wind Turbines.
Brian's background is in Marine Engineering. Specializing in the market of PV solar and Wind technology for the Marine Industry. This is a harsh environment, as the seawater is an aggressive, corrosive agent. His experience in tackling the problems associated with this environment gives Brian an edge on how Wind and PV systems will operate within the Irish climate.
Together, with their combined source of skills and knowledge CEI has a combined working experience of 25 years which makes CEI the more experienced company within the Irish market.
We choose our products carefully, bearing in the mind the Irish weather conditions, and what will work best for the Irish consumer. As an example, in February 2008, CEI was chosen as an Associate Installer by Solarcentury Holdings Ltd, based in the UK.
